Halibut

Cook Inlet hosts a massive halibut population, with fish reaching up to 400lbs. Bait, gear, tackle, and filleting are included in your trip.

Guided

Clam Digging

Hop out of the boat at low tide and harvest from one of Cook Inlet's clam beds with an experienced guide. All necessary equipment provided.

A long, action-packed day of Halibut, Ling Cod, Black Bass, Yellow Eye, and Salmon fishing.

Transport-Only

Clam Digging

A cross-inlet transport to a self-guided clam digging adventure. Equipment not provided.

Typical Day on the water:

  • Meet at the charter office at a scheduled time

  • Drive to beach tractor launch

  • Load clients & gear into the boat

  • Navigate to the fishing ground (roughly 1 hour)

  • Fish until everyone has a limit or is satisfied with the day

  • 1-Hour ride back to the beach

  • Drive back to the charter office

  • Hang fish for photos

  • Captain fillets catch

  • The client chooses to take fillets whole or process with us

Fish Processing:

Vacuum packing, freezing, and shipping of your catch are available by request.

  • Vacuum sealing is $1/lbs

  • Vacuum pack and flash freeze is $1.25/lbs.

Important Details

  • All clients must purchase an AK fishing license before to each trip.

  • A king salmon stamp is required to harvest kings.

  • Bait and tackle are included.

  • Lunch, snacks, and beverages are not provided but are welcome on board the boat.
